This poster advertises about a semicolon’s purpose. My goal was to explain and visually portray the history, proper use, and physical characteristics of a typographic character. Through this poster you will inform other designers about the purpose of this character, its origin and development, and its current use in communications. I chose to create an informational poster on the typographic character: Semicolon.

My design concept has a modern yet soft touch so the design can be versatile. I use stylish and sleek attributes to enhance the visual attraction of the piece. Through the use of rotating, sizing, and contrast, I created visual hierarchy. My color schemes took a lot of research and combinations to attain a coherent piece with only two colors. I followed the aspects of my grid to make sure the alignment is perfect.
